Khloe Kardashian Odom recently found herself in a bit of a crunch—and it had nothing to do with a fashion emergency. Rather, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star had a fender bender in Los Angeles on Monday, Aug. 20, but it seems that she (and her Range Rover!) emerged unscathed, as did the other driver. Whew!
As Entertainmentwise reports, Khloe drove her vehicle into the backside of an SUV, and while it's not clear what really caused the accident, it seems likely that this rear-end job could be a classic case of driving while distracted, i.e. texting on the road. The Kardashian-Jenner crew, including Khloe as well as sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian and mom-ager Kris Jenner, are practically glued to their smart phones at all times, as can frequently be seen on their hit reality show. So it would be unfortunate, but not really shocking, if this little scuff had its roots at the "cellular" level.
In fact, Kendall Jenner has lately exhibited some less-than-model driving habits, as well, as the 16-year-old was accused of nearly causing an accident of her own, as she was driving erratically—under the influence of text messages and friends in the car.
Even Kourtney hasn't escaped the auto drama, as apparently her partner, Scott Disick, recently left their toddler son, Mason, locked in a hot car. The adorable two-year-old is okay (and apparently, baby Penelope Scotland was safe and cool at home), but Scott may need to go back to Parenting 101.
Thankfully, none of these situations turned serious. (Entertainmentwise confirms that a workout-gear-clad Khloe Kardashian didn't even exchange information with the other driver she bumped into, as the damage was so insignificant.) But hopefully these brushes with danger will be a wake-up call for the reality TV show divas and that controversial father figure that is Scott Disick.
