Jef Holm and Emily Maynard of The Bachelorette may be surrounded by tabloid gossip this week, but that doesn't mean Jef has lost his sense of humor. The story goes that last weekend, Jef caught Emily with racy texts on her phone from another man. Thursday afternoon, Holm shared a text via Instagram that got his true fans chuckling.
Emily and Jef spent much of the day Thursday apartment shopping for him, and then Holm took on carpool duty. After that, he took a moment to laugh at the insanity of the week and joke around as he so often does. He posted a picture of a text he received that said, "Jef! I'm soooooo sorry dude! I'm sorry that I was sexting Emily and I'm sorry that when u opened her phone u had to see a pic of my little Johnson! Please forgive me!!!" Jef's note on Instagram under the post was "Da**it @jerjackson I had a feeling it was you!!"
While some commenters didn't get the joke at all, those fans who really have paid attention to Holm and his world got a good laugh out of it. Jeremy Jackson is a very close friend of Jef in Utah. Clearly the text was a joke, and most would imagine if the tabloid stories were true, Holm would have a hard time joking around about it right now.
Jef Holm told Emily Maynard during their time filming that he doesn't take life too seriously. This post seems to be a good example of that. Only a few people, at most, know what really happened between Emily and Jef last Sunday night. If they are fine with where they stand, then hopefully the tabloids will cut them some slack and let them carry on.
