Is Neil Armstrong dead? Sadly, the answer is yes, but the legacy he leaves behind will live on forever.

According to reports, Neil died after complications from a procedure he was undergoing for his heart. He was 82.

The report of Neil's death saddened many as everyone remembered the first man to walk on the moon. It wasn't just average people remembering Neil, either. Celebs also took time to take to Twitter and express their sadness over the loss of a generational icon.
