Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been facing some seriously emotional circumstances of late since the rather surprising news of the actress' infidelity with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. The British heart-throb has to be shaken up about the turn of events in his love life, but he's recently played the ultimate trooper, promoting his new Cosmopolis movie like the pro that he is and sitting through interviews with a brave face—but with tightly sealed lips on the evolving state of his personal affairs.
Whether the scandalous situation will create too much baggage for the couple to throw away, making it impossible for them to restore their romantic relationship, is yet to be seen. Apparently the cheated-on Pattinson agreed to a tear-soaked phone call from Stewart, and rumors have suggested that a face-to-face meeting is in the cards.
All that aside, according to one director (definitely not Sanders!), Kristen Stewart has some other super-emotional moments to her name—and her most significant one has nothing to do with Robert Pattinson. Thankfully, all of them are on-screen with no more off-screen drama for the young starlet—yet.
The Twilight Saga's head honcho, Bill Condon, recently spoke about his selects for some of Stewart's most powerful work from the set of Breaking Dawn-Part 2 and his most memorable scenes. "There are a lot of those, I would say... you know what, the scene when Charlie meets vampire Bella for the first time and then meets Renesmee," Condon revealed, as Hollywood Life reports. "This is a movie that really only has one fully human person... so Charlie is our way into this whole thing. If Charlie can believe it and understand, I think the rest of the audience can too. Of course, Billy Burke is such an incredible actor who can really humanize any moment, so watching him and Kristen together in that scene, I remember everything was a total pleasure in that."
Who would have thought that a father-daughter moment would capture Condon's fancy—he certainly must have a wealth of other intense scenes racing through his mind. But those he may just be waiting to share until after the November premiere of the final Twilight installment, which promises to be a hugely emotional event in and of itself for the entire cast, regardless if Robsten is still an item or if they have also ended their own love "era" of sorts.
