Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may not be photographed together—romantically, at least—for some time, or ever. It's still not clear if the longtime lovers can restore their relationship after Stewart's indiscretion with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. What is assured, though, is that their Twilight coupledom will continue to dominate the attention of Twi-hards, at least until the November premiere of Breaking Dawn-Part 2 has come and gone.
In light of that fantasy on-screen romance that currently no longer translates off-screen, Pattinson and Stewart, along with fellow co-star Taylor Lautner, have a hot new shot together. But the pic is just for the new Twilight: The Complete Journey book, and it rather ironically shows Robsten in a seemingly dreamy embrace.
The photo was obviously taken before the cheating scandal. And while the pic looks pretty steamy on the surface, a body language expert has weighed in with a different opinion, pointing out the reasons why there is already hidden tension emanating from Stewart even as Pattinson appears completely in love with his girlfriend.
"Rob adores her and leans into her," Dr. Lillian Glass affirmed to Hollywood Life. "Rob engulfs her. He affectionately leans his head on her head. She in turn is a cold fish with her shoulder up; literally giving him the cold shoulder and taking his affections for granted. She leans away from him and there is no smile on her part. Rob's face on the other hand looks relaxed and loving."
While it's not hard to miss Robert Pattinson's apparent affection for Kristen Stewart (not to mention his super-hot look) in the photos, one may never notice the supposed signs that Stewart's not really feeling his love. She cuts a sexy profile that still has that bit of attractive awkwardness that has become so signature to the actress.
Regardless of whether this book's cover photo somehow foreshadowed the trouble in paradise that's currently tearing Robsten apart, it's still an impactful shot that may be one of the last ones seen of the two stars together as a couple.
