Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif have officially gone their separate ways and now, it looks as though the two Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars are headed for a custody battle. They appeared in court on Friday but unfortunately, the judge on their case was busy elsewhere and couldn't see them. They did try to hash it out between themselves and their lawyers but were unsuccessful.
A source tells Radar Online, "A custody dispute over the three boys has arisen, and Paul felt that the only way to get it dealt with was to go to court on an ex-parte (emergency) basis on Friday." Adrienne has been keeping the boys with her until they can come to an agreement, but it doesn't look like they'll be able to do it alone.
"At this point, it appears that the only way this can be resolved is a decision by the judge. Paul and Adrienne are planning to be back at the courthouse with their lawyers on Tuesday morning," the source added.
Paul is seeking joint legal custody and physical custody of the kids which he claims is in their best interest. Asking for joint legal is expected but since Paul wants physical custody, which means the boys would live with him full-time, he's going to be headed for a fight. It's going to take a lot for the judge to place the kids with their father over their mother unless something is really of concern.
Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif's marriage will be seen for the last time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 3 this fall on Bravo TV.
