Honey Boo Boo's mother, June Shannon, commented on Kris Jenner's recent diss about the TLC show about their family. Her quote was both eloquent and intelligent—as one might expect. The mother who exploits her daughter, whose real name is Alana Thompson, by enrolling her in little girl beauty pageants dressed like a high-class hooker is giving it right back to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch.
According to a report from RadarOnline, when June Shannon heard about Kris Jenner's diss, she retorted with the following comment.
"There is people who love us and people who hate us," the pageant mom said.
Oh, yes there "is," June. There certainly "is."
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars Alana Thompson, her mom June Shannon, daddy Sugar Bear, and three sisters. One of the teen sisters has a baby who lives in the self-proclaimed redneck family as well. The whole family gets involved in and makes money from dressing Alana up for these pageants, where she is ridiculed for being overweight and for not having the good manners and social graces the other little girls have been raised with.
Kris Jenner's comment about the show was a bit questionable, seeing as how it has passed Keeping Up With the Kardashians in the ratings; however, what she said about Shannon exploiting her little girl certainly rings true.
But in the words of June Shannon, "There is people who love us..." and that no doubt applies in the Kardashian world as well.
