Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian may love being in the spotlight and furthering their business ventures, but it appears that Kendall Jenner wants everyone to know she's not a Kardashian and wants more for herself than a career in reality TV.
The 16-year-old model, who is the daughter of Bruce Jenner and Kris Kardashian, spoke out about her desire to paint a fine line between the family reality TV shows and her own career as a model.
In a new issue of GenLux magazine, Kendall boldly proclaims: "My name is Kendall. Kendall Jenner. I am NOT a Kardashian," on the cover.

It sure makes it sound as if she doesn't want to be associated with the trashy Kardashians. However, the magazine's editor said that Kendall just wanted to separate her modelling from her reality TV career.
Whatever she was trying to do, it was a smart move. Even though many people love the Kardashians (well, all of them except for Kim Kardashian), there are also a lot of people who hate them and would rather watch something else.
So, Kendall Jenner distancing herself, even slightly, from the Kardashian name is a good thing. It will give her more opportunity to be seen as something other than just a reality TV star and a spoiled rich kid.
Do you think Kendall Jenner will ever completely distance herself from the Kardashians? Would that be a good or bad thing?
