Khloe Kardashian appeared as a guest on Good Morning America on Thursday and dished about how difficult her ordeal with infertility has been. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wants desperately to have a child with hubby Lamar Odom, but so far the couple hasn't become pregnant.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Khloe admits to 'dabbling' in infertility treatments in an effort to speed up her journey along the path to motherhood.
"I never knew all the difficulties, my mom has so many kids and Kourtney pops them out like a pez dispenser," she says. "So you think it's like so easy. You realize it's not as easy as you might think. It was really hard for me to show what I was going through, but I feel like I'm helping a lot of people, but I'm still figuring it out for myself."
So what exactly is Khloe doing to have that baby in the near future?
"It's really trial and error," she says. "You get put on hormones, see if they work, and if they don't you move on to the next step. So it's ... there will be a part 2 of this which airs on E! this Sunday. And you will find out more of the in-depth treatments I've been doing but it's really trial and error."
Can you imagine how difficult it must be for Khloe Kardashian to not only find it difficult to become pregnant, but to have her most personal trials play out in front of a reality TV audience? In some ways this must add insult to injury.
For Khloe and Lamar's sake, hopefully one of these treatments will work soon so they, too, may be blessed with an addition to their (albeit nontraditional) reality star family.
How will this all play out, however, if Khloe is in fact Simon Cowell's ultimate choice as the new host on The X Factor? Will he and the network mind having a pregnant host? Certainly Khloe will look hot whether she or isn't with child--right?
It likely matters far more to Khloe and Lamar that they start their family than Khloe getting the spot on The X Factor. Hopefully they won't have to make that choice and both blessings will fall into the reality stars' laps.
