Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene of Monaco, made a bold entrance at Musee Des Arts Decoratifs. On September 18, the Princess attended the Van Cleef and Arpels Exhibition Launch in Paris.
It looked like the Monaco royal turned to one of her go-to labels, Christian Dior, for the occasion. The vibrant red column featured a draped, halter neckline and a graceful, floor-length hem. The Princess also wore a matching red wrap.
It has been a quiet few weeks for the former Olympic swimmer since the 2012 Olympics ended. The sassy, red column could have signaled her triumphant return on the red carpet. Sadly, even with stunning jewels, Princess Charlene failed to breathe life into the promising gown. Maybe an equally bold lip color instead of neutral make-up, or even a standout clutch would have helped the royal.
The Van Cleef and Arpels Exhibition features 400 breath-taking pieces from the jewelry house, on display until February 2013.
