Fiona Apple is in trouble with the law in Texas after a border check found hash on her tour bus. She was arrested for possession after drug sniffing dogs found the hash and a small amount of marijuana, and is waiting for a judge to decide her fate. Fans hope she can get out of jail soon, since she's on tour and has planned shows!
The Texas town, Sierra Blanca, is the same place where Willie Nelson, Armie Hammer and Snoop Dogg were also caught, according to TMZ. Why are so many celebrities getting caught coming through this check point? Are they just careless about where they keep their recreational drugs? Or are the authorities more thorough when they know they're checking a celeb's vehicle? They either need to stop taking illegal drugs across the border with them, or they need to hide it better.
Will this cause her to miss her planned performance tonight? Fiona Apple is slated to play at Austin City Limits Live at Moody Theater on Thursday, and has another planned concert on Friday. So far, no announcement has been made about canceling or rescheduling those shows, so they are probably waiting on the judge's decision. Hopefully the Criminal singer can get out soon!
