Justin Bieber dished recently on what it was like when he kissed girlfriend Selena Gomez for the very first time. Is he not the most romantic 18-year-old around? You'll be even more smitten when you hear what he said!
According to a report from the National Ledger, the moments leading up to that infamous first kiss were wrought with fear—at least for Justin. But once he gained enough courage to go in for the smooch, his life was forever changed.
''It was scary a 
nd spontaneous and it was just awesome ... It was the best (kiss) of my life,'' he says.
See—positively romantic, isn't he?
Justin and Selena have been in a committed relationship ever since, but even though he knows their love is strong, he does admit to having a hard time figuring her out from time to time.
''I don't think I'll ever stop learning about girls," he says. "You never know whether they're going to be happy or sad, do you? You kinda have to hope that they're going to be in a good mood.''
Good job, Selena! She's obviously keeping Justin Bieber guessing—which not only is hilarious, but probably part of what keeps their relationship so fresh and alive.
Do you suppose Justin ever imagined right before he kissed Selena Gomez for the very first time that the two would still be together today? They certainly are one of the most adorable and most sensible young couples on the Hollywood scene—and they set an excellent example for their young fans.
Justin will soon be off on his Believe tour, leaving his Love You Like A Love Song girlfriend behind. That never seems to create issues in their relationship, however, since each seems equally dedicated to their careers.
Talk about a great balance! There are adults in their 30s who haven't yet figured out the whole relationship-career balance. And to think, it all started with that one scary kiss!
