Kate Gosselin taught her eight children a lesson recently. The topic? Value. The lesson plan? Toy shopping. Yes, Kate took her gang shopping for toys that the children paid for with their own money.
According to a report from The Celebrity Cafe, Kate and the kids visited their local Toys 'R Us following a lesson on money, responsibility and the value of a dollar.
"Today was voted the 'best day ever'! We went to toysrus and my kids chose whatever they wanted using their own $! Haven't seen them since lol," Kate tweeted on Saturday evening.
So what did the eight little Gosselins buy? It was Legos for Cara and a cupcake set for twin sister Mady. The sextuplets shopped as follows: Legos for Colin, spy gear for Joel, Legos for Aaden, a house for twin stuffed bunnies for Alexis, fashion designs and a doll stroller for Hannah, and things for her baby dolls for Leah. Sounds like some great choices were made after the former Kate Plus Eight stars learned the value of a dollar.
Kudos to Kate Gosselin for teaching her children the importance of saving their money and choosing their purchases wisely. And congrats to her on the quiet evening she got for free while the kids enjoyed their new toys.
That might just be the very best value of all!
