Rumor has it that Angelina Jolie is suffering from the deadly and incurable liver disease, Hepatitis C. If this is true it would account for her dramatic weight loss and the fact that she hasn't been seen much in public lately. Also if this rumor is true, it will be devastating news for La Jolie, her kids, and her fiancé, Brad Pitt. Hepatitis C is a deadly disease for which there are only two known treatment options. The first and, oddly enough, possibly the least horrific is a liver transplant. Her other option would be a brutal regimen "of medication that is likened to chemo in a bottle." Goodness. Poor Angie. But are the rumors true? And if so, how did she contract Hep C which is a blood-borne disease only.
"An exhausted Angelina Jolie is showing signs of deadly hepatitis C —" reveals an inside source, "and friends fear the frail beauty may require a life-saving liver transplant! She shriveled to 95 pounds, recently suffered a terrifying collapse and is displaying classic symptoms of the mostly incurable liver disease. Pals are frightened she picked up the killer virus with reckless behavior during her wild young days — including heroin abuse."
While Angelina's hard partying past is well documented, it's hard to believe that even if she was a junkie, she couldn't afford access to clean needles. Of course, drug addicts are careless, and it's possible she was at some point exposed to infected syringes. Whatever. Hopefully, these reports are not true, not only for her sake but for the sake of her children and Brad Pitt. They would be devastated. Sad.
Hopefully, these are simply more nasty rumors created by jealous haters.
