Superstar singer Madonna shocked many when she recently said that "We have a black Muslim in the White House," according to SFGate.
The Hearst Corporation news outlet says the pop star was in the nation's capital on Monday, where she let loose on a number of topics during her MDNA Tour, including the questioned comment about President Obama being a black Muslim.

The Huffington Post reported the controversial statement, too, which was preceded by the celebrity pushing for her audience to vote for the president seeking a second-term in office.
She even reminded them that it was like a marriage and they had him "for better or for worse." And given the state of the economy, it can't get much worse, right? so she was probably wise to throw that part in there as well.
What has some confused, however, is that the president claims to be a Christian, not a Muslim. Some have expressed doubt that he is Christian, given that he supports abortion and gay rights, which Christian faiths teach against. But Muslims are not supportive of those things either.
Even the Muslim president from Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has gone on the record against supporting the homosexual lifestyle as recently as Monday night on CNN. So if the president were Muslim, as the aging singer seems to believe, he still would not be supportive of gay rights, as she also mentioned in her concert comments.
Does the celebrity singer know something few else do, or few are willing to admit? Maybe, as some have already speculated openly about that possibility due to some administration decisions made.
Or was Madonna just being her controversial self while in Washington, D.C. in order to get more attention from the press by saying that Obama was the black Muslim in the White House and people should keep him there?
