Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson might be getting back together despite K-Stew's cheating scandal, but it doesn't mean that they'll remain a couple forever. In fact, their reconnection might last no more than a month.
According to Sugarscape, an insider has revealed that Rob "crumbled" after K-Stew started crying during one of the couple's post-scandal meetings. However, instead of immediately taking her back and acting like nothing has changed between them, he's giving Kristen a month to show him that their relationship is worth saving.
Apparently the couple met together with their representatives in order to discuss the status of their relationship. It's likely that their reps encouraged them to meet because of the impending release of Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Rob might have wanted to avoid Kristen at all costs after she cheated on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but he probably got pressured into talking to her since the couple needs to figure out how they're going to act together while promoting the final Twilight movie.
The insider told Grazia that Kristen Stewart took advantage of her meeting with Robert Pattinson by begging for his forgiveness, and she promised that she'd cut back on her work schedule so that she can spend more time with him. If K-Stew wants to save her relationship with Rob, then a break from working on movies is probably an excellent idea - after all, she did cheat on him with a coworker. If K-Stew goes right back to spending tons of time around other men, there's no way Rob will be able to trust her.
Here's what the source said about the couple's trial arrangement:
"He has warned Kristen that he might never be able to forgive and forget. But he's agreed to give it a month to see if they can make it work. If they can't, he says he will walk away.
Kristen hasn't stayed over at Robert's new place yet. They have seen each other most days since their initial meeting, but they are taking baby steps. He has also requested that they don't talk about Rupert or what happened.
She has nobody to talk to because Robert has made it clear the topic is off-limits."
Perhaps avoiding talking about Rupert Sanders isn't the best idea - after all, if Rob and Kristen don't discuss why she cheated, then how will they be able to work on improving their relationship? Kristen needs to figure out why she did what she did to ensure that it doesn't happen again, and Rob needs to know why she did it for closure so that he can learn to trust Kristen again. If they just avoid talking about her cheating, then their month-long experiment is likely to fail.
So do you think that Kristen and Rob will work things out during their trial period, or will they only stay together until their Breaking Dawn - Part 2 duties are fulfilled?
