Melissa Gorga joined the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey during its third season and was quickly thrust into the spotlight. Her feud with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice ruled the headlines and although the show has caused some family tension, it was worth it for Melissa.
The reality star feels that for her, she has done nothing wrong and therefore, all that she has gotten out of the show has been good things such as her music career. For her, all the great opportunities outweigh the drama in her family.
"I can put my head on my pillow because I'm not doing anything wrong," Melissa explains. "I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I cannot control what other people do to me or how Teresa [Giudice's] actions are hurting this family. For me, it's worth it, because I'm not doing anything wrong."
Meanwhile, Teresa has been making the press rounds claiming that fame has ruined her family and that when Melissa and her cousin Kathy Wakile joined the show, it got worse. That, of course, is debatable and according to Melissa, its also untrue.
When a family has problems, they need to be addressed and unfortunately in this case, they weren't. In order to sort out their differences, Teresa and Melissa should have kept in touch and tried to have a relationship. Relationships are work!
