Poor Emma Watson had a huge crush on one of her Harry Potter costars, but he made sure to let the 50 Shades of Grey favorite know that he didn't feel the same way.
Emma's latest movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a coming-of-age story that focuses on awkward teens living, loving, and learning, and Emma is promoting it by talking about some of her own painful experiences growing up. According to Digital Spy, here's what Emma said about her Harry Potter costar Tom Felton:
"Between the ages of ten and 12 I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton, to the extent that I would go into work in the morning and look down the numbers on the call sheet to see if he was going to be in.
We love a bad guy, he was a few years older and he had a skateboard—and that just did it really.
He totally knew and the thing is that he'd tell everyone, 'I see her in a younger, sisterly way', and it just broke my heart. It still does."
It's really sad that Emma Watson is still feeling that pain—it's almost like Draco Malfoy cast some sort of love spell on the beautiful actress just to toy with her. However, Emma is now allegedly crushing on Ryan Gosling, so she's working on moving on.
It would certainly be interesting to know if Tom Felton feels differently about Emma now that she's grown into such a beautiful young lady—she's not frizzy-haired goody-goody Hermione any more. Emma is hoping to show everyone that she's ready to leave her child star days behind by dancing in skimpy lingerie in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and playing a criminal with a sexy sense of style in Bling Ring.
And perhaps Emma will attempt to get over Tom by starring alongside a hot actor like Ian Somerhalder or Ryan Gosling in the steamy 50 Shades of Grey movie.
So do you think that Tom might be regretting the way he treated Emma now that she's older?
