Selena Gomez worked while Justin Bieber played on Saturday, but they both gave new meaning to the terms. Selena attended the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park to End Extreme Poverty, as part of her UNICEF duties, while Justin opened his Believe tour, dedicating his first performance to Avalanna Routh.
According to a report from Just Jared, it was clear that even though Selena was working, she loved every minute of what she was doing—as she posed for photos in the VIP lounge. Neil Young, Foo Fighters and the Black Keys all performed as part of the charity event.
And although Justin 'played', he paid tribute to a little girl whose life was cut way too short, making it a bittersweet evening for the Biebs.
Selena's enthusiasm for her event was contagious, as she tweeted prior to her arrival.
"I'm sooo excited for @GlobalFestival 2day!! Supporting @UNICEFUSA & meeting the winner of #GlobalCitizen sweepstakes," she wrote.

Don't you love that Selena—even though her career as a film and singing star has really blossomed—still takes time out of her busy schedule to uphold her UNICEF duties?
