Country singer Jason Aldean partied a little too hard when he visited a bar in Los Angeles. The country star who has hits like "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party" on the radio is married and has children, but says that alcohol was a contributing factor when he was photographed making out with rejected American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. They didn't just kiss, they got tangled up and hot and heavy, with her actually sitting on his lap at some points.
This isn't exactly a surprising story, but it is sort of a disturbing one, since it goes to show what many suspect, that celebrities often cheat on their spouses when they think that they can get away with it. It is likely that for every celebrity that gets caught, there are ten more that do not.
Aldean says that he just got drunk, and apologized to his fans on his Facebook page. Presumably, he also talked to his wife since 2001, Jessica Ussery separately. "I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites," the singer said on Facebook. "The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar."
He also claims that making out was as far as his night went with Kerr. "I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story," Aldean said. "I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support." Jason Aldean and his wife have two daughters as well.
