The news has been a long time coming, but it looks like fans of Ashley and JP from The Bachelorette will finally get official wedding news soon. The two have laid out some hints on Twitter over the past few weeks, and fans had a feeling something was in the works. The two had previously said they planned to wed in 2012, but it seemed like time was starting to run out. According to a new report by Wetpaint, things have finally fallen into place.
Wetpaint shares that the wedding is on and "it will most likely happen towards the end of the year before we reach 2013." The site's source indicates that "save the date" cards will be sent to the 300 or so potential guests this week and things will be fast-tracked from there. Of course Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum will have a lot of help in getting this planned with ABC at the helm. Fans hoped, but hadn't been sure, that this gala would be televised, and Wetpaint's source says it's a done deal.
A late fall 2012 wedding will likely mirror what Jason and Molly Mesnick did, with a likely scheduling goal for late November sweeps. It sounds like there are a lot of details to be pinned down yet, and of course there's no word quite yet on when fans will have details. For now, suffice it to say that "Team Cupcake" fans will be doing a happy dance knowing that JP and Ashley are set to walk down the aisle for certain.
It's been a wild and crazy ride for these JP and Ashley, but they have been one of the most united couples to ever come out of The Bachelor franchise and there never seemed to be much doubt a wedding would happen. When Ashley and JP do wed, they will be the second official final couple to make it happen, with an honorary mention to Jason and Molly. Will Ben and Courtney or Emily and Jef be planning weddings soon as well? Congratulations to Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum!
