Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 love life is impossible to keep up with. When she isn't dating Kieffer Delp, she is engaged to Gary Head. However, she has since ditched both of those men (one with the help of a no-contact order) and has moved on with a new man named Courtland Rogers.
The two have been friends for a few years, but only recently got back in touch with one another. He is from Southport in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Jenelle says that he is a great guy, though, and hopes that all of her fans will give him a chance. She even says that her mother, Barbara Evans, approves of her newest relationship. She has even introduced Jace to her new man already!
While he may seem great on the surface, it was noted on a few Teen Mom sites that he has a criminal record. A public records search for North Carolina shows that Courtland may indeed have a criminal past. A Courtland Keith Rogers is shown in the system having a felony possession conviction in 2004. After serving his time (which carried a maximum of six months), he managed to stay out of trouble until 2008 when he had two misdemeanors and another felony. He served his sentence and was released in summer 2011. StarNews (an online North Carolina paper) also reported about the 2008 incident, citing a Courtland Rogers from Southport.
Of course, you can't judge someone based on their past. Just because he has been in trouble before, that doesn't necessarily mean he is still a troublemaker. Since Jenelle Evans has had so many troubles with men in the past, it is great to see her finally moving on to someone new this year. Third time is a charm, right?
