One Direction's Niall Horan is scheduled to have knee surgery. Will he need much down time from performing or recording as a result of his upcoming operation?
According to a report from Unreality TV, Niall appeared in a live Twitcam earlier this week; and while touting One Direction's new single, Live While We're Young, he told fans about his bad knee.
"Ya know the way I always had a bad knee, added to it playin ball the other day! Its messed up now! Operation time," he tweeted.
At the moment, Niall is hobbling around on crutches, which probably prompts lots of ribbing from One Direction band mates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik.
"I'm on crutches hahahahhaa! Funny as hell," Niall tweeted.
Hopefully Zayn Malik will at least feign sympathy for his band mate. After all, he hobbled through LAX on crutches a few weeks ago after hurting his ankle on skateboard ramps with Justin Bieber.
So when is Niall scheduled to go under the knife? The boys will perform at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on October 7, but aren't due to appear officially again until some time in November. That provides a good window of opportunity to get the knee fixed and rehabbed, and get Niall Horan back on stage.
Best wishes to Niall as he prepares to have his knee surgery. He'll no doubt receive loads of tweets of undying love and concern from all the female fans in his life.
