Ben Affleck doesn't have a casting couch and he doesn't make his Argo actors sleep with him in order to get the job according to Bryan Cranston, one of the film's actors.
"He doesn't make his cast sleep with him. That's one of the best things as a director that Affleck doesn't do," Cranston said.
Jennifer Garner, Affleck's wife, will be glad to hear that.
The Belfast Telegraph also reported on Friday that Affleck thinks Matt Damon is jealous of him now that he's the one working with George Clooney, who produced Argo as Affleck directed and starred in the movie project.
"Matt's hurting, but you know how it is: you have to just do a lot of careful stroking and he'll come back around," Affleck laughing told ET.
One can hope Damon has the kind of sense of humor and self confidence to handle that type of public comment about him.
For his part, Clooney is weathering rumors of a breakup with his girlfriend Stacy Keibler, according to Hollyscoop TV, on Friday, but the New York Daily News has the couple cozying up on the Argo Red Carpet.
So which is it? Are George and Stacy caputsville? Or are they as cozy as two peas in a pod?
If Ben Affleck is as great at making the set as supportive as one of his Argo actors alludes (Bryan Cranston), then Clooney and Keibler have worked out any differences they may have had in time to walk the Red Carpet together for the film's promotion.
