When it comes to the Teen Mom spin-off, there is a whole lot more confusion surrounding Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, and Catelynn Lowell.
Farrah Abraham confirmed that she had been offered a spin-off which would focus on her life with Sophia. However, not long after news broke, it was reported that her show would not be on MTV (if it makes it to network at all).
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have both been seen filming and, while they themselves have not confirmed a spin-off, Catelynn's father claims that cameras have been following the couple through their entire wedding planning process. They have both been vocal that they want their fans to watch them tie the knot, but that is all the information that they have given.
On the other hand, all seems to point to Maci getting her own show with the network. While Maci has denied these claims, photographic evidence has emerged showing camera crews capturing Maci in class at Chattanooga State. A tabloid article came out this week claiming that Ryan Edwards wanted nothing to do with Maci's new show, but that the network didn't seem to get the hint.
Fans know that Ryan has never enjoyed being on camera. He never liked having the public inside his personal life and was probably the least dramatic of the show. The only drama that ever transpired with him was anytime he had to talk with Maci. Of course, without Ryan to fight with, there wouldn't be much of a show. So, according to reports, Ryan Edwards decided to ask for an insane amount of money (reportedly $20,000 an episode), hoping that the network would turn it down since he "can't stand" Maci Bookout. The tabloid went on to claim that the plan backfired and that Ryan was set to become rich off of the spin-off.
However, is there any truth to the article? On Friday, a Twitter account devoted to Teen Mom tweeted an article stating Ryan's alleged claims. When a fan asked Ryan about it, he had a lot to say!
Ryan responded, " no none of that is true.. that twitter always makes up bullsh*t that's why they are blocked."
Unfortunately, Ryan Edwards didn't confirm whether or not Maci was getting her own spin-off. He only seemed to confirm that he wasn't going to be a part of any show that his ex-girlfriend pursues, no matter the amount of money.
