Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart don't plan to officially "come out" as a couple until the première of Breaking Dawn Part 2. Do you think this is a good plan or does it play into the hype about Kristen Stewart's affair being staged for promotional purposes?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Rob and Kristen plan to appear in public for the very first time since getting back together at the Breaking Dawn Part 2
première on November 16th.
"What better way for the world to see them together than when they do it for the movie," a Summit Entertainment source says.
And what better way for the film to get some extra publicity than to have Rob and Kristen make their first public début at this event.
Does this all sound incredibly contrived to you? If Rob and Kristen are once again a couple, should they really coincide their first public appearance with the opening of this film? Shouldn't they have their own "coming out" that is all about them and not about the film? Or here's an idea. How about if they just went about their business from now on as though they are a couple--with no grand announcement or public showing? Wouldn't that be what ordinary couples would do?
How do you feel about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart saving their première for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 première? Does something about this feel fake to you?

So, people are going to think what they're going to think regardless of what Robert and Kristen do, and most of them are already thinking it. I don't see much change happening, no matter what they do. The skeptics aren't going to change their minds unless and until after Breaking Dawn is done, and Robert and Kristen are still together. So be it.
So, why come out? To be nice. There are a hell of a lot of fans who stood by both of them through this, and who are supporting them even now in whatever choice they make. Throwing those people a bone before the premier wouldn't be that hard, nor do I think it's too much to ask. They've earned it, and then some. And Robert and Kristen get a nice date out of it.
