Longtime Hollywood couple Danny DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman are separating. The two were married for thirty years. They dated for eleven years before tying the knot in 1982. The couple met way back in 1970.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, this is a shocker in many Hollywood circles. DeVito and Perlman hold a record for being one of the longest married couples in recent celebrity history.
DeVito first burst on to the American TV scene in the hit sitcom Taxi, opposite Judd Hirsch and Tony Danza, and Perlman's most famous role was that of Carla Tortelli on the long-running, award-winning hit TV show Cheers, opposite Ted Danson and Shelley Long.
Both Perlman and DeVito starred in the 1996 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's children's book Matilda, starring the adorable Mara Wilson.

How incredibly sad that this famous couple is calling it quits after thirty years of marriage. Perlman and DeVito have three children together.
