Kate Middleton and husband, Prince William, were in attendance at yet another business appearance when the pair were spotted at the opening of the new Soccer Training Stadium for the English national team in St. George's Park.
Though the Duchess of Cambridge is known for her feminine style and grace, she proved she was able to keep up like one of the guys while at the opening, where she talked soccer and helicopter lingo with those on hand, including Parliament member Andrew Griffiths.
Said Griffiths, "I asked if she was going to come for a kickabout later. She said, 'Have you got a pair of trainers I can borrow?' I said, 'It can be arranged.' She just laughed."
Now that would be a newsworthy site: Kate Middleton trading in her gorgeous knee-length coat for a soccer jersey and a pair of tennis shoes! Surely there are few members of the English national team would object to spending a bit of time with her!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived to the event via helicopter, not surprising given that Prince William is a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force. What is surprising, though, is Middleton's apparent interest in the lingo of the RAF, which she has been increasingly subjected to due to her husband's career.
Apparently spending time around all these men is rubbing off on the otherwise girly Middleton!
