One Direction's Niall Horan can hardly believe that he and his band mates--Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik--have now officially outsold The Beatles.
According to a report from E!, the boys have made chart history in the U.S., selling 341,000 copies of their new single Live While We're Young. It's the fastest-selling track ever sold by a non-U.S. artist. And yes--Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn have outsold those fab four boys from Liverpool--Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
"We're so happy with the success of the single in the USA," Niall says. "We can't wait for everyone to hear our new album."
Fans can't wait for the alb
um's release, too. They finally seem to get it that Niall and Demi Lovato aren't an item, however. The X Factor judge did have some very nice things to say about the One Direction singer recently.
She said he's "a really awesome, sweet guy...he's not my boyfriend."
And that's what Niall has been telling people all along, too.
Do you share Niall Horan's excitement about One Direction beating The Beatles with their sales of Live While We're Young? Are you looking forward to the album's release, too?
