Kate Middleton had a busy day of official engagements all by herself after Prince William was forced to leave her and pay his respects to his late nanny. The couple was slated to spend this week together, but William cleared his calendar in order to pay his respects to the woman who helped rear him. After an emotional day, William was more than ready to join his wife and pals for a bit of relaxation at Loulou's in Mayfair.
Patrons were shocked to discover they would be in the midst of royalty. One person says, "Nobody knew they were coming and then at 10pm they were swept in through a back door. They stayed for about couple of hours." Will and Kate were joined by Pippa Middleton and Princess Eugenie, making it a royal treat.
Kate looked gorgeous in a black dress with a hem that landed several inches above her knees and matching black pumps. She stayed warm with a black coat. It looks as if her husband coordinated his outfit to compliment his wife and donned dark pants and a black sport coat with a white shirt. The Duke and Duchess are not exactly night owls and only hung out for a bit before leaving the exclusive club around midnight. Pippa the party animal, stayed until the wee hours of the morning.
It is a rare occasion for Kate Middleton and Prince William to go out anywhere together when they are not on official duty. Yesterday, was clearly a tough day and the two needed a little downtime with friends.
