If it weren't for all the film equipment and random people milling about, you might think she was ready to attend some glamorous red-carpet event, as she so often does these days. But no, in this case Jennifer Lawrence was actually dressed for work--as her character Katniss Everdeen on the set of the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, which was shooting in Atlanta.
E! Online has the "First Look" photo of the star walking around the set Friday between scenes, looking pretty darn good in a dark-blue, form-fitting patterned dress. The outfit appears to have black leather (or faux-leather) accents at the shoulders and hips. Her hair is once again dyed Katniss-brown and styled in the character's signature side braid pulled over one shoulder.
Why is Katniss so dressed up and not all mussed and dirty like she was in the last movie? E! speculates it's for a scene in Catching Fire of her victory tour as a winner of the Games.
Whether that's true or not, fans should be happy to see tangible proof that Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of the cast and crew are hard at work bringing this next chapter of the Hunger Games trilogy to life on the big screen!
