Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly added a little new ink to their collections. Miley and Liam, who are engaged, have apparently gotten matching tattoos... sort of! Part of the quote on Liam's arm is not quite right!
So much for the rumors about Liam and Miley breaking-up. Just when you thought that Miley might actually remove a tattoo or three, she goes adding more ink to her collection.
Reportedly, Miley and Liam's new tattoo is a quote from former President Teddy Roosevelt. It is doubtful that this has anything to do with this fun little news story about Theodore Roosevelt out of DC.
The tattoo is actually a quote that begins on Miley's arm and finishes on Liam's. Oh how sweet.
Except for one thing... Liam got the Roosevelt quote from a 1910 speech, wrong.
"So that his place shall never be with those cold," reads Miley Cyrus' tattoo. "and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat." Liam's quote is the line right before.
"If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly," is what Liam Hemsworth's arm says. The problem is that the actual Roosevelt quote is "If he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly."
Where did the second "he" go? Talk about a big "oops."
At least the two didn't get each other's names tattooed. Nothing says "embarrassing" quite like getting a name of your fiancé on your arm and then having to have it removed after a break-up. That is if, in fact, they actually break-up in the future like the rumor mill keeps saying that they already have.
