Phaedra Parks recently sued VIBE Magazine after they published a book called Lies of a Real Housewife in which she was portrayed as a crooked attorney who had previously taken part in some seriously shady business. According to her, it was damaging to her reputation and she felt like she deserved a $30 million payout.
Unfortunately for Phaedra, VIBE did not agree and offered her a measly $2,500. Following their offer, both parties agreed to dismiss the suit. For Phaedra, it was likely more about the precedent and less about the money, but either way, she didn't get what she wanted and VIBE still insists that all claims against them are false.
Phaedra made waves when she joined the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was a respected attorney but her husband was an ex-con who previously served time for racketeering.
Phaedra Parks' mother also had filed a lawsuit against VIBE. Her settlement offer was just $10. Now that's just a waste of time.
