Victoria Beckham always looks flawless. With her fashion-forward wardrobe, groomed hair and big-sunglasses-and-pout combination, the fashion designer always looks her best, even when she's juggling her hectic family. So what's her secret?
It seems even celebrities want to steal her style. Cheryl Cole has revealed all about her friendship with Victoria during the 2006 World Cup, where both women were supporting their husbands. Cheryl claims that when she asked how Victoria copes with the pressure of fame, Victoria responded: "How do I cope? I cope because I have to, because it's the way my life is. I'm hardened to it. I know how I'm perceived to be is not how I am, and that's what matters."
Cheryl also questioned Victoria on her thin frame, only to be told that Victoria's weight was nobody elses' business. "When they say, I'm too thin, I just think: "You know what? I'm happy to be thin. I'm into fashion and I like being able to wear whatever I like. It's my business, and if other people don't like it, that's their business."
She even spoke out on Victoria's trademark pout, claiming that when Victoria did laugh, she'd use a handbag to cover her mouth.
Of course, Cheryl has spoken out about Victoria before, most notably in Vogue in 2009. Cheryl claimed that she was shocked and disappointed that Victoria hadn't made contact after it emerged that Cheryl's ex-husband Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole had been sexting a hairdresser. So whether the new revelations are tainted remains to be seen...
Victoria Beckham didn't seem to be bothered by Cheryl's new book, and was even photographed without her glasses after flying from LA to London. As soon as she left the airport she hit the shops, dressed in an elegant black blouse and Prada pencil skirt. Although she was looking immaculate, Victoria did remove her shades to admire some clothing, and showed off dark bags underneath her eyes.
The star hit Twitter to share travel tips with her followers before tidying her hair, putting on her sunglasses and redoing her lipgloss - and finally leaving the shop. Suddenly, she seems much more human!
