Lauren Conrad's love life was a storyline for years during her stints on both Laguna Beach and The Hills and while fans loved to watch her relationships on-screen, she's had much better luck off. In fact, rumor has it that she could be walking down the aisle sooner rather than later.
Her boyfriend of just over eight months is reportedly looking to tie the knot with his former reality star love. "William told a friend that Lauren was the one and he was shopping for an engagement ring," an insider tells Life & Style. "He said he was planning on proposing very soon and can't wait to pop the question."
William knows that he has his work cut out for him but will do his best to get Lauren the perfect ring. "He needs to get the ring right," the insider explains. "She is so stylish and — as a designer — has a definite taste when it comes to jewelry and fashion." One might suggest that he enlist the help of her friends or family members but William wants to do it all by himself and Lauren will appreciate that more anyways.
"Lauren has no idea he's ring shopping," the source adds. "He wants everything to be a surprise." Lauren is in for a treat and after years of failed relationships, she's earned it. Plus, now is the perfect time for Lauren to settle down. She's finally out of the spotlight and has her career as a writer and designer nailed down.
Too bad fans won't get to see that play out on-screen! Now that would be good for ratings!
