The actor/rapper Drake only graduated from high school on TV. In real life, he dropped out for a starring role on Degrassi: The Next Generation at the age of 15.
Now, at age 25, and after five months of study, he finally got the real thing by passing his GED exam.
According to Just Jared, Aubrey Graham has spent months making up for lost time by studying for his equivalency diploma with the help of tutor Kim Janzen.
"97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!" he tweeted on Wednesday.
It's kind of amazing to think he hasn't done this before. And why now?
After all he's more successful than lots of college graduates, and earning potential is probably not a concern.
Maybe he's up for a role as a college student next? That would explain doing real-life research.
Successful or not, a high school education is very important, so congratulations to Drake!
