Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are officially man and wife. The couple tied the knot during a secret ceremony in Italy. Fans expected the wedding would take place some time this weekend.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, the couple gave People magazine an official statement about their wedded bliss.
"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," Justin and Jessica said on Friday.
On Thursday, the couple hosted a pre-wedding gathering on the beach for 50 guests, including Andy Samberg, Biel's 7th Heaven co-star Beverley Mitchell and Timbaland. The crowd gathered at Cala Masciola beach on the Adriatic Sea around 8:30 PM on Thursday for dinner and cocktails, and enjoyed a fireworks exhibition at 9:30.
