Kate Gosselin is Happy to Be Alive Despite...

Kate Gosselin has had a rough couple of months. However, the former reality TV star isn't letting it get her down. Kate, who has recently been fired from her job as a blogger for Coupon Cabin, and had to dodge rumors that she's abused her children, and family pets, says she's happy to be alive regardless.

"Good morning! Are you smiling at the blessing of today? I am...Glad 2b alive, able & a mom to 8 truly marvelous children (but I may b partial)" Kate tweeted on Tuesday morning to all of her supporters.

It's great to see that Gosselin is keeping her head up in spite of all the drama that seems to continuously surround her life. Kate is realizing what's really important, which is her family, and that as long as she has them, her life will be complete.

Kate Gosselin has grown accustom to the haters online, and in the press. However, she is staying positive, and living her life, which sets a great example for her eight children.

Great example my a**. This is purely damage control. All these tweets about how wonderful her kids are and how lucky she is to be their mom is a ploy to deflect from the book that WILL eventually be back in circulation.

She is farting unicorns and rainbows simply because she is a person suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder and has no understanding of how much the public really doesn't like her. I just wish she would take a real self inventory and stop blaming others for her own faults but take responsibility for her actions. I read the Robert Hoffman book and it's not a pretty picture that she paints - with her own words in the form of her journals and emails - in reality she is incredibly self absorbed and spends as little time possible with those kids. She is a grifting, child/animal abusing diva who thinks she is special and unique because she gave birth to 8 kids. Listen up honey - your 15 minutes is up about 10 min ago and it's time for you to get back to REAL reality.

Zipper, I just finished the book too---it was definitely jarring to read (purportedly) her own words thru the emails, etc. (and I fully believe that these were valid). Not a nice person.
I also read Al Walentis' "The Secret World of Jon and Kate" (in one of his stories he alludes to another reporter who is clearly Hoffman; they were covering the same beat)--interesting because it primarily focuses on '09 when things were falling apart.
I'm now reading Polly Kahl's "Jon and Kate Plus Eight: Reality TV & the Selling of the Gosselins". Out of all three books, it's decidedly the most well-written and analytical.
I really, really worry for those children.
