Cindy Barshop joined the cast of Real Housewives of New York during season 4, but producers gave her the ax the following year along with co-stars Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and Alex McCord. Now that she's had some time to reflect, she's dishing on if she'd ever return and whose side she's on in the Jill vs Bravo feud.
As for if she'd ever participate in the Housewives franchise again, Cindy isn't so sure. "As amazing as it was for me, it's kind of not my style; I'm a little bit more downtown New York. It's just easier not to be in it, but I'm glad that I did it," she tells Wetpaint.
Cindy's also axed co-star, Jill, is currently locked in a bitter feud with Bravo after they had her back to appear on WWHL only to find out that she had been secretly taping their interview, which she claimed was for her own protection. Regardless of her questionable actions, Cindy still supports her friend. "I'm backing Jill. I spoke to her the other night. You know, one of the things is that she's one of the first few [stars] who built the [RHONY] brand, so it's different when she goes off versus when I go off the show. So I get that, I get it! She built that."
While many have felt as though the latest season is not nearly as good as season prior, Cindy is on board and says, "I actually think they did a great job! Everybody said it was slow in the beginning, but that's because we didn't know them." Cindy may have a good point. It does take a while to get into storylines that involve characters fans have yet to know. However, the ratings suffered and in reality TV, that's what counts.
