According to a new report, the answer is "yes." A source tells Life & Style, "Emily is very concerned that Ricki will be traumatized. She's trying to keep everything as normal as possible for Ricki, but Emily regrets bringing Jef into their lives."
It's hard for any single mother to date—especially in the public eye. Many would criticize Emily for having her boyfriends be a part of her young daughter's life, but she really fell in love with Jef and thought it would work, so it's not really fair to judge.
"Emily has always been protective of Ricki," a source tells the mag. "All she wants to do is focus on her and try to make this all go away." Emily will likely think twice when it comes to her next relationship.
She seems to really want her family complete, and who could blame her? She's just trying to be a good mom and help her and her daughter live happily ever after.
