Adam Lambert and Christina Aguilera Exchange Tweets

Although Adam Lambert is always quick to give props to fellow artists on Twitter, it is rare that they show him admiration in return. That's why it is exciting that Adam, a longtime fan of Christina Aguilera, shared a Twitter exchange with the pop superstar on Monday. Christina tweeted about her album: "Love it! # BestFansEver RT @XtinaSquad: Lotus is Top 20 in USA and Canada. So happy for @TheRealXtina <3" Adam is excited

about the album and tweeted, "@TheRealXtina I pre-ordered my copy! So excited to hear it!" He must have been thrilled when Christina responded, "Thank U Adam! You're so sweet." It has to be exciting to receive a tweet from Christina, given that she only follows 20 people on her Twitter account. The fact that she even saw Adam's tweet is surprising given the thousands of replies she must receive.

Adam has made it no secret that he is a huge fan of Aguilera. Last December they had a chance meeting at a bar in Los Angeles. After the encounter, Adam tweeted, "Randomly met @TheRealXtina for the first time last night. She was lovely. # alwaysafan." The meeting of these two superstars has been a long time coming, as Adam has spoken of his admiration of Christina for a while. He has tweeted about her songs in the past, such as, "X-tina's WooHoo is hot! I'm dancing while driving! Shwerk!" He also once tweeted a video of Christina singing "Impossible" and commented, "dont forget... listen to her VOICE! DAMN!!! liiiiving!" Of course, you can't get praise any higher than what Adam tweeted about Christina's album Bionic, "Bionic: XTina's vocals take other pop girls to SCHOOL. Production is A+ I'm entertained! Nuff said."

Adam and Christina are both vocal powerhouses, and a duet would be incredible. Hopefully one day that can come to fruition. In the meantime, both have new music out. Christina's new album, "Lotus," available November 13, can be preordered on iTunes. Adam is the most unselfish, generous artist in entertainment, so supportive and turning his fans onto some great music and some not anywhere in his league. I'm so glad Xtina responded and Adam had an opportuniy to finally meet her face to face. They both have powerful, clear voices that would be phenomenal in a duet. I've always loved her songs Beautiful, You Lost Me and Lady Marmelade. I think she sometimes overdoes the riffing and I miss her long held beautiful notes. Whitney Houston also tended to do that in her later work, making the songs seem choppy and losing meaning for me. Adam's vocal training and care of his voice is so apparent and serves him well, no matter what he sings. He's magnificent. Thanks for always supporting him and keeping us in the loop, Renee. :)

You are absolutely right, I have always thought myself well informed about music, but I've still learned a lot from following Adam, much of it well out of my comfort zone but still worth knowing about. As you say he is always so supportive of other artists some already famous and some not so much, it's so sad that some are not as supportive in return.
