Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Nial Horan and Louis Tomlinson are five of the UK's cutest guys, for sure, but some people view these guys as men. Cosmopolitan magazine went as far as naming these guys "Men of the Year." Granted, each of the guys is at least 18 years of age, which does qualify them as men, technically speaking. However, unless you're a girl between the ages of 10-14, it's difficult to view these guys as being men—perhaps "young men" would have been more fitting.
Regardless, being named "Men of the Year" was quite pleasing to Harry, who tweeted out a big thank you to the magazine on his Twitter page.
Harry Styles tweeted: "Thank you to @Cosmopolitan for making us Men Of The Year the other night.. Sorry we couldn't be there. See you soon .xx"
Actually, Harry's fans thought it was quite amusing that Cosmopolitan referred to the boys as men.
A fan named Holly tweeted, "@Harry_Styles men HAHAHAHAHAHAHHDSBHZBSHX"
Another fan by the name of Ana also tweeted her amusement: " @Harry_Styles @Cosmopolitan HA HA MEN HA HA"
Sorry to burst Harry Styles' (and the other 1D guys') bubble, but it's pretty clear that the idea of the One Direction guys being men has got a lot of people laughing. What was Cosmopolitan magazine thinking?
