It's true--well, sort of. Kristen Stewart may be leaving Robert Pattinson as her onscreen costar for Ben Affleck instead. She is in talks to star opposite Jennifer Garner's hubby in a new film called Focus.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Focus is "the story of a veteran grifter who partners with a woman who's new to the life of conning."
It's certainly a far-cry from Breaking Dawn Part 2--the upcoming film starring Kristen with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. That won't bother Kristen, however. She is no stranger to new and challenging roles. Following the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 2 in November, her film On the Road hits theaters in December.
Focus was originally going to star Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone but those talks fell through. Now Kristen and Ben Affleck are under consideration. Focus was written by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa--the writers of Crazy, Stupid Love.
Can you picture Kristen Stewart alongside Ben Affleck in this high-profile film? Can Kristen behave herself and stay faithful to Robert Pattinson while filming? She didn't while filming Snow White and the Huntsman. As everyone knows, she had an affair with that film's director, Rupert Sanders. Hopefully she keeps Rob front and center in her heart and mind and doesn't ever make a mistake like that again.
Kristen is a seasoned actress and definitely has what it takes to move up in the world--on par with an actor like Ben Affleck. Do you think it will be fun to see her star in Focus if she and Affleck wind up with the roles?
