Kristen Stewart had to have been feeling a little lost and alone in the days immediately following the revelation she cheated on Robert Pattinson. Rob's fans spewed all kinds of nasty filth about the actress and fellow celebrities were taking pot shots when they could. Despite all the hate, Jodie Foster came out swinging in defense of her young friend.
Dakota Fanning is also offering her support to Kristen. In a new interview with In Style magazine, Dakota was apparently asked her opinion on the whole scandal. Unfortunately, with all the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 press, the stars of the film are being subjected to questions about the scandal even though they had nothing to do with it.
Dakota's answer is rather blunt, "Why do you think you are the authority to judge people's experiences?" Rawr! She may be fairly young, but she has been in the business for a long time. She knows how it works, but is clearly not happy with the constant invasion of privacy. She explains, "Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that."
She is setting the record straight. You nor anybody else except Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has the right to talk about the very public scandal and their relationship. Good to know Kristen has some stalwart supporters by her side.
