Kourtney Kardashian was just called "crazy" by Kim Kardashian (the two girls have been filming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami lately), but Khloe Kardashian Odom is just crazy in love. And the youngest Kardashian sister proved it during her man Lamar Odom's birthday on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The L.A. Clippers basketball player turned 33 on Election Day, but it may have been his doting reality TV show partner who won the vote for "best wife."
"Khloe's taking care of the man like he's a king—doing just about anything he asks," an insider revealed to Hollywood Life regarding Khloe's path to birthday bliss for Lamar. "She's showering him with love and affection and who would want anything more than that? She's being a real loving wife to him, and I know she wants him all to herself today for some R&R..."
Khloe, who recently snagged her own lucrative gig as The X Factor co-host, has frequently made it clear through her actions (many glimpsed via Keeping up with the Kardashians and the last season of Khloe & Lamar) that she's no stranger to putting her hubby, his pro basketball career and her little family first. She's followed him every step, dribble and jump shot of the way, through basketball trades, stressful training days and more.
And her strategy seems to be working! Unlike Kourtney's sometimes volatile relationship with Scott Disick and Kim's unlucky-in-love streak (hopefully her current boyfriend, Kanye West, changes that!), Khloe Kardashian has seemingly enjoyed a rather successful romance and marriage so far.
As for Lamar Odom, his idea of the perfect day for the big 33 was pretty low-key and low maintenance. He was "just going to relax and do a light workout and kick back for the rest of the day and cheer on Obama later tonight," confirmed the source of his Nov. 6 plans. Of course, aside from an Obama victory, Lamar's other big b-day wish would have to be the gift of a Clippers win at the team's Nov. 7 game against the Spurs!
