It didn't come as a surprise to many when Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson, who has since moved on to Bachelorette runner up Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Ben Flajnik broke up not even a year after their engagement on TV. While he seemed to be a sweet and adorable man who just wanted to settle down, she seemed to be a vicious bully who just wanted to win a contest. In a new interview, however, she's claiming that they broke up because he wanted to play the field.
"I was miserable with Ben; he treated me so badly," she said, adding that while she had planned to move to San Francisco to be with him, he objected by saying, "'I just turned 30, and I'm not ready.'"
In contrast to her miserable time with Ben Flajnik, she's having a blast with Arie Luyendyk, Jr. She's confirmed the two are dating, albeit not exclusively yet.
"Arie makes me laugh so hard, and he's adorable, so I'm going with it," she said.
If what she's saying is true, then Ben Flajnik must be one hell of an actor since he fooled everyone with his sweet personality on both the Bachelorette and Bachelor. Of course, this is only her side of the story. Her ex-fiance probably has a completely different explanation for why they couldn't make it work. Now it's time to wait and see what he has to say, if he decides to say anything at all.
