Ben Flajnik's ex-fiancee Courtney Robertson hasn't been shy about moving on from their relationship. In fact, just one week after announcing their split, she was spotted with Arie Luyendyk Jr., the runner-up from Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette. Now, the couple has gone public with their relationship and has confirmed that they are dating. So, is Ben moving on as well?
"[I'm not dating again], not as quickly as she is," he tells Life & Style, and as for her new relationship, he says, "I don't know what to make of it. The way she handled it wasn't in the best taste." It was definitely a shocking move by Courtney, who was pegged as the villain during the show. No one thought that either would move on so fast -- especially not so publicly.
"I'm not really one to stay up on gossip, but my sister keeps me in the loop," he says, adding that his family is the one who originally told him of Courtney's new relationship. "All of my friends were really surprised and disappointed. [Courtney] knew them all."
In addition to the shock that Ben went through, he also felt a bit betrayed by Arie, whom he had met and hung out with on a few occasions. "I thought I knew him," Ben reveals. "He came up to Sonoma and we hung out for a few days. He seemed like a really nice guy."
Either way, seeing Courtney move on so quickly just solidified their breakup for him. If there was any chance that they'd reconcile, it went out the window as soon as he became aware of her new romance.
"Breaking up was the right move," he adds.
