If anyone bothers the One Direction guys--Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik--one of their bodyguards will tell them to Beat It! Michael Jackson was one of his former employers, and he's got the moves down pat.
According to a report from TMZ, 1D goes back on tour this December and they're currently promoting their new album Take Me Home. Security has recently been ramped up for the guys, whose fan base is growing by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately whenever that fan base grows, so does the percentage of crazies.
Of course there's another angle to this story, but likely one that's cause for concern. The new 1D bodyguard--Alberto Alvarez--was with Michael Jackson on the day he died. Now certainly Alvarez can't be held accountable for MJ's death--and that did render him on the unemployment line. So both parties win in this situation--hopefully.
You can check out a video of Alvarez in action, guarding the One Direction guys as they arrive at LAX by clicking on the TMZ link above.
Do you think hiring Michael Jackson's former bodyguard Alberto Alvarez was a good or bad decision? It's no doubt a clear indication of the level of security surrounding the Live While We're Young and Little Things singers--right?
