Miley Cyrus is clearly in no hurry to get that piece of paper declaring she is married to Liam Hemsworth. Why would she be? They live together like a married couple already. The only thing missing is the paper and an elaborate wedding. She is excited about the wedding, but not enough to put her career on hold.
During a recent appearance on Ellen, Miley opened up a little about her big plans for her dream wedding. However, don't expect to see Miley and Liam's wedding photos covering the cover of People magazine anytime soon. Miley has other things to do that are much more important.
She tells Ellen, "I'm like so focused on my record." She adds, "I kind of don't want to be in between touring and trying to plan all that." Basically, the wedding and Liam will wait. Her career will not. That is just the way it is in show biz. You have to strike while you are still hot.
Miley is obviously excited to get married, but like many brides, she was a little surprised by all the ridiculous details that go along with wedding planning. She explains, "So it's a lot of weird detail. I don't want to be doing too much and be crazy and forget about the moment of it all."
It is probably a good idea she puts the wedding planning on hold until she can devote more time to it all. Although she could hire a wedding planner to take care of things, she would end up stressed out and overwhelmed by it all. Miley Cyrus wants to enjoy her special day. Good for her! Liam will wait if he truly loves her.
