Kate Gosselin is excited on this Saturday that her girls are ready to read her book. Many fans might not think that she should let them in on this much of her life. What do you think about it?
Kate shared on the news on Twitter saying: "I knew this day would come! Hannah and Leah asked to read 'I Just Want You To Know' I am so excited! http://img.ly/pz6t." The girls are sitting on the couch enjoying the book.

In this book, Kate talks about how much she loves her children and more, but she also lets them into a lot of world. Fans are posting on the photo wondering if Kate forced the children to take the picture or to read the book, but it is possible they are honestly interested. Many children are proud of their parents and would want to read their book. If Kate didn't think it was appropriate, she would not allow the girls to read it.
What do you think of Kate Gosselin's kids reading her book I Just Want You To Know? Sound off on your thoughts in the comments section below.

I find it amazing that the author states that if the book weren't appropriate then Kate wouldn't share it.
Let us not forget that this is the mother who sent her kids to live with an Ex-Playboy Bunny. And THAT was appropriate?!?!
It's rough reading. First I can't imagine the type of person who would actually write(type) that she had yanked her child up by his hair...or any of the other things reported in Hoffman's book. I would be so ashamed if I 'whipped my child into bed'(sic) and certainly wouldn't make not of having done it. Yet I completely believe that she did do these things. I loved the email re: the teeth bleaching---apparently the offer was only for Jon but Kate's reply was "yes for both".
PJ-I think Kate's book is actually subtitled something like "Letters to My Children". From what I've gathered (haha--no pun intended) the sales were absymal on it.
Holly--it's not so much the Playboy Bunny factor that bothers me as it is the (seeming) fact that she left her kids with a stranger for a week. From what I've read, KG & KW switched places for a week and KG played Mommy to Kendra's kid(s?) and vice versa. So, strange ladies in charge, unknown film crews in both houses...not thinking this is the best idea.
As for the author of this article, She supposedly wrote the book FOR her children. Why on earth wouldn't it be appropriate? Wikipedia says sales for "her" book were about 10,000. That's a failure. She probably has cases of them in her basement. I'm glad everyone lost money on this venture.
I would dearly love to get my hands on Hoffman's book.
'I Just Want You To Know' was such a failure that it led to the demise of several projects that were in the works for Kate.
Yet, Kate doesn't seem to realize that once a book bombs, it's tough to get new projects (and books) off the ground.
Susannah (love your posts, btw) the Playboy Bunny aspect only bothers me because Kendra was known for her "shock value". She stood out on The Girls Next Door because of her wild and free behavior. She continued that type of raunchy behavior on her own show. Granted her show since her baby was born depicts a maturing, loving mom, but there are STILL moments where she likes to shock with her sexual references.
What kind of supposedly loving mom would put her kids in a position of potential exposure to that and let it be filmed for "entertainment" purposes?
